History: 

Between 1977 and early 1983, Agnew Lake Mine produced uranium for Kerr Addison Mines Ltd. During this time, it produced 1.88 million pounds of uranium from about 3.1 million tons of ore.

Below ground, there are a number of features, including a six-compartment shaft leading to a depth of over 980 metres.


Personal Commentary: 

While there isn't a great deal to see now, it was still an interesting place to spend a bit of time. It's a nice drive to get there, and quite scenic.
