Houses Demolished Ontario Canada

This place gives you the creeps pretty much the moment you walk in. Perhaps it's the fact that the beds are made, or that everything looks very lived-in. Perhaps it's the number of personal belongings scattered everywhere that you can't imagine anyone leaving without. Perhaps it's something else.

This house is an interesting balance of new and old. There was electrical service, but certainly added as an afterthought. The kitchen, while featuring a relatively modern fridge, also contains a wood-fire cooking range. While there is evidence of indoor plumbing, just outside the kitchen is a hand-powered water pump, and a short distance from the house, an outhouse sits in apparently good repair.

Update: I stopped by for a look on May 13, 2017, and discovered that it has been demolished.
