By this point of the day, the rain was finally beginning to let up. This was purely a target of opportunity as we happened to be returning down this road from our earlier travels.

Having spotted it, we turned around in the next-door-neighbour's driveway and went back. We were marginally concerned given the neighbour's proximity, and the considerable traffic on the road, but luck favours the bold.

The things left behind in many old houses astound me sometimes. This one was quite interesting in that respect. I couldn't really get a feel for the type of people who may have lived there, but perhaps an older couple.
