Install Your Urbex Map

After your purchase, you will receive KMZ or KML files by email. These files can be opened with Google Earth or Google My Maps.

Installation on Computer

Option 1 – Google My Maps (Browser solution)

Google Earth

  1. Download and install Google Earth
  2. Open the software
  3. Click :

File → Open

  1. Select your KMZ or KML file

Your map will appear in :

Temporary Places

You can save it permanently if needed.

Option 2 – Google Earth (Recommended)

  1. Go to Google My Maps Click :
  2. Click :

Create a new map

  1. Click :

Import

Upload your KML file

Your urbex locations will appear on the map.

Google My Maps may be slower with large files. Google Earth is recommended for the best experience.

Installation on Phone

Option 1 – Phone (Google Earth)

This is the recommended method for mobile use.

Step-by-step :

  1. Download your KMZ or KML file from your email
  2. Install the app : Google Earth
  1. Open Google Earth
  2. Tap :

Projects

Import → Import local KML file

  1. Select your file

Your urbex map will instantly appear with all locations.
